Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Risk Analyst to join our Market Risk Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and management of the Risk Framework & Strategy, with a specific focus on risk identification, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality risk analysis and reporting to support business decisions
  • Work closely with various departments to provide policy interpretation and guidance on regional and local market risk policies and frameworks
  • Collect and analyze data to assess Oceania's market risk performance against MUFG policies and guidelines
  • Monitor and prepare regular reports on Oceania's performance on activities including, but not limited to, credit limits, loan due date checks, borrow ratings reviews, and audits to MUFG policy and guidelines
  • Maintain and update credit limits of front and back office systems
  • Produce risk exposure and profit and loss reports for Treasury, Head Office, and regulatory purposes
  • Produce credit and market risk usage and detect exceptions
  • Maintenance of all middle office systems
  • Assist in testing new risk management systems
  • Document and update risk management systems regularly
  • Carry out special projects as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong Excel skills, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication and presentation skills. You will also need to be highly organized, with the ability to multitask and work autonomously and proactively. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills are essential.
