About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Risk engine, you will be responsible for collaborating with Front Office traders and Market Risk teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that align with our strategic technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in daily scrum meetings and sprint planning sessions
  • Liaising with Business stakeholders globally to understand existing risk and PnL calculations
  • Collaborating with global Front Office teams to identify challenges and develop tailored solutions
  • Ensuring consistency across regions and building reusable solutions
  • Implementing necessary Risk and PnL modelling changes for Front Office traders

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an Analyst in financial markets, collaborating with Business and technology teams
  • Ability to understand and document calculations for various Risk and PnL metrics
  • Proficient in crafting detailed requirements, skilled in writing SQL queries, and investigation techniques
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
  • Capable of leading workshops with stakeholders
