We are seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as Trainee Community Support Workers.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference in their community.
As a Trainee Community Support Worker, you will have the chance to work with aged care clients in their homes, providing domestic assistance, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and social activities.
- Visiting clients in their homes and supporting them with daily living tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and personal care.
- Providing support with domestic tasks including cooking, cleaning, and managing household chores.
- Assisting clients with transportation to medical appointments and social activities.
- Support clients with daily living tasks to maintain their independence and quality of life.
- Provide domestic assistance to help clients manage their households effectively.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- A competitive hourly rate starting from $24.65+ per hour (part-time).
- Flexible days/hours, Monday to Friday, between 9:00am to 4:00pm.
- A current ACT driver's licence.
- A reliable, registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
- The ability to pass a National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (WVPC).
