Job Opportunity

The Community Care Specialist is an integral part of our team, supporting clients in the community who require assistance with daily living activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care to clients with dignity and respect, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other essential tasks
  • Assisting clients to live independently by helping with household chores, meal preparation, cleaning, and companionship

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A compassionate and empathetic personality is vital for this role
  • Ability to learn new skills on the job through training and professional development
  • Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Aged Care, or Disability is highly desirable
  • Experience in aged care or community work is advantageous
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle would be beneficial for transporting clients

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Current First Aid certification
  • Current Police Check
  • NDIS Worker screening check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Up-to-date Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination as our clients are vulnerable individuals
