Plumbing Supervisor Job Description

Programmed Energy and Resources is a leading provider of managed workforce and training solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumbing Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Unanderra, Wollongong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate plumbing operations on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Manage and mentor a team of plumbing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance as required, ensuring that all plumbing operations meet the highest standards.
  • Prepare project schedules and monitor progress, ensuring timely completion and delivery of projects.
  • Contribute to the preparation of tenders and quotations, leveraging your expertise to secure new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Plumbing Trade certification
  • Plumbing License
  • Current driver's license
  • High level of WHS standards and safety consciousness

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good working knowledge of industry standards
  • Heavy industrial experience (preferred but not essential)

Desirable Attributes:

  • Ability to work autonomously and lead a team, making informed decisions to drive project success.
  • Strong client relationship building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in managing installations and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in generating and writing quotations, leveraging your expertise to secure new business opportunities.
  • Proven track record in team leadership, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
