Job Title: School-based Traineeship

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 10 student to join our team as a School-based Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world work environment while completing your Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations.

About the Role:

As a School-based Trainee, you will work in our Plumbing Wollongong branch, assisting our team with daily tasks and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in customer service, stock management, and sales processing. You will also be required to complete coursework and assessments as part of your Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embracing the Reece values and policies
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing coursework and assessments for the Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations
  • Processing sales and managing stock
  • Answering phone calls and taking messages
  • Communicating with customers and staff
  • Building product knowledge and providing follow-up to customers
  • Maintaining a high standard of work and contributing to the success of the branch
About You:

We are looking for a student who is:

  • Good at written and verbal communication
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Enthusiastic and has a great attitude
  • Willing to learn and take on new challenges
  • A team player
  • Well-presented and willing to maintain a neat and tidy workspace

As a School-based Trainee, you will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week. You must have Saturday availability and be willing to work additional hours during school holidays to assist in your progress.
