As a key member of our pathology team, you will be working on a relief basis in various shifts across our hospitals.

Your Role

You will play a pivotal role in positively impacting the health of Australians, working closely with our Collection Lead and passionate team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carefully collecting samples from patients
  • Keeping accurate records for every patient and sample
  • Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
  • Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a relevant qualification
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
  • Organisation and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently
  • A valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple locations
  • A Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship, or a valid visa
