At Advanced Personnel Management, we are seeking a purpose-driven professional to join our multidisciplinary team in the City of Brisbane.

This therapy clinic is located in the heart of Brisbane with a choice of fabulous lunch options. Our organisation is committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children and their families across Australia.

As a Speech Pathologist at Advanced Personnel Management, you will work across a combination of clinic and mobile services, providing evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric, adolescent and adult caseload. You will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary context to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric, adolescent and adult caseload – providing direct, family based and community-based support to individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities,
  • Day-to-day in the role will include assessment and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload in terms of both age and modality of intervention, working closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support,
  • Ongoing evaluation, training and review to ensure the delivery of quality services to clients.

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA Registration is a must
  • A passion for working with individuals who have disabilities to help each client to achieve their own goals, potential and participate in their community in a way that is meaningful for them
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Passion for making a difference with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for clients and families
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents and confidence in your role working closely with their families is highly valued
  • Compliance requirements – SPA Registration; Working with Children Check; National Police Check; NDIS workers screening check; First Aid Training; Driver's License & Vehicle
