We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to join our team at Little Creatures Geelong. As an iconic brewery and hospitality venue, we pride ourselves on crafting delicious beers and providing a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a renowned brand in the hospitality industry. You will play a pivotal role in the operational success of our venue, reporting to the Venue Manager and assisting in overseeing daily operations.

  • Supervise and support front-of-house team members during service periods, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including liquor licensing laws, to maintain a safe and responsible working environment.
  • Assist in staff training, development, and performance management, helping team members grow and thrive in their roles.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, remaining calm and composed in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar service and cellar management.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
