Casual School Crossing Supervisor

School Crossing Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community. During school terms, Crossing Supervisors are responsible for assisting school children and other pedestrians at established children's crossings and traffic lights.
Key Responsibilities- Assist school children and other pedestrians at designated crossings and traffic lights
- Ensure the safety of the community by effectively managing traffic flow and pedestrian movement
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the Australian road rules and safe work procedures
- Work collaboratively with other community members and stakeholders to promote road safety
- Be punctual and reliable, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons
- Experience in a similar role or experience in traffic safety or working with children is highly regarded
- Ability to effectively lift, utilize, and operate safety equipment within defined standards, ensuring clear visibility for both motorists and pedestrians
- Good judgment and road sense, with a strong knowledge of the Australian road rules
- Competent understanding and ability to follow Safe Work Procedures to ensure community safety
