Manningham Council is seeking a skilled and reliable School Crossing Supervisor to join our team. As a School Crossing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community, particularly children, while crossing roads.
Key Responsibilities- Assist school children and other pedestrians at established children's crossings and traffic lights during school terms.
- Utilize safety equipment and have good judgement and road sense to ensure community safety.
- Be punctual and reliable, and able to get to and from your rostered crossing and work shifts, morning, afternoon, or both.
- Experience in the same role or experience in traffic safety or working with children is highly regarded.
- Ability to effectively lift, utilize, and operate safety equipment within defined standards.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian road rules and ability to follow Safe Work Procedures.
