Key Responsibilities- Assist school children and other pedestrians at designated crossings and traffic lights
- Ensure the safety of the community by following established procedures and protocols
- Operate safety equipment and maintain a high level of visibility for motorists and pedestrians
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the Australian road rules and regulations
- Experience in a similar role or experience in traffic safety or working with children is highly regarded
- Ability to effectively lift, utilize, and operate safety equipment within defined standards
- Good judgment and road sense, with a strong knowledge of the Australian road rules
- Competent understanding and ability to follow Safe Work Procedures to ensure community safety
- Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or both
