We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Care Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Goulburn. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for delivering person-centered nursing care, supervising and supporting less experienced clinicians, and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs
- Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to enhance their skills and confidence
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans
- Prioritize and organize workload to ensure efficient delivery of quality care
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated competencies in multidisciplinary team work and communication
- Effective clinical leadership and supervision skills
- Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
- Recent experience working in a mental health setting
