Job Summary:

KinCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in the Hornsby area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting their independence and mobility.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, requiring specialized support and attention.

Requirements:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a valid driver's history.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our customers.
