About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Assist customers with cleaning, laundry, and other domestic tasks to ensure their home remains safe and comfortable.
  • Personal Care: Help customers with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Assist customers with meal preparation and shopping for groceries.
  • Medication Management: Assist customers with managing their medication and ensuring they take their medication as prescribed.
  • Transportation and Social Support: Provide transportation to appointments and social activities, and offer emotional support and companionship to customers.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Certifications: Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability: Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and prioritize tasks effectively.
