Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in the Hornsby area. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating and independence.
  • Deliver personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and mobility assistance.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers, providing a listening ear and companionship.
  • Provide social support and transport to appointments, helping our customers stay connected with their community.
  • Deliver complex care services to customers with high care needs, including dementia care.
Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to seek support from management.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
