Operations and Maintenance Specialist

The CHPP Maintenance Team requires skilled professionals to perform maintenance and repair work within the Coal handling and Preparation Plant. This role involves executing scheduled and routine maintenance activities, breakdowns and unplanned maintenance activities, and upholding high-quality standards.
Key responsibilities include inspecting and monitoring coal processing machinery and equipment, reporting and raising job requests, updating and closing off completed work orders, maintaining cleanliness of all areas, and participating in CHPP improvement processes.
- Skill requirements: trade background (mechanical or electrical), infrastructure experience, and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and be computer literate in Microsoft suite applications.
