About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Aged and Disability Support Professional in Mooloolaba. As a Care Worker for Seniors, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and wellbeing of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers' nutritional needs are met.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, promoting a sense of community and connection.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, helping our customers to manage their daily lives.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they can access essential services.
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, including those with dementia.

What We Look for in a Care Worker
  • You are passionate about assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • You hold a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is part of the role.
  • You are able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
  • You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to seek support from your Manager.
