Job Title: Senior Business Application Developer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled senior developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex business applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality business applications using Visual Foxpro 9.0 Service Pack 2. Additionally, they will lead the modernization and migration of legacy systems where applicable.

Key responsibilities include providing guidance to junior developers, participating in code reviews, analyzing and optimizing existing code for performance and scalability, writing clear technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality business applications using Visual Foxpro 9.0 Service Pack 2.
  • Lead the modernization and migration of legacy systems where applicable.
  • Provide guidance to junior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices.
  • Analyze and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
  • Write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing project updates and participating in meetings with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Visual Foxpro 9.0 development, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. They should also have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as experience with legacy system migration and integration with newer technologies.
