The Role

You will work closely with participants to navigate challenges, maximize their funding, and build capacity for long-term success. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert support coordination services to NDIS participants with complex needs.
  • Identifying and addressing barriers to achieving participants' goals.
  • Collaborating proactively with service providers to ensure holistic support.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of NDIS policies, local services, and relevant legislation.
  • Preparing timely and accurate reports for stakeholders.
  • Advocating for participants and ensuring their budgets are utilized effectively.
  • Conducting regular stakeholder meetings and follow-ups.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
About You

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • A formal qualification in Allied Health or a related field (Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Education).
  • Experience as a Specialist Support Coordinator (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Background in Case Management (preferred).
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficiency in service development, evaluation, and reporting.
  • A valid Australian driver's licence.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children Card.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
