Housing Occupancy Coordinator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Housing Occupancy Coordinator.

This role is responsible for delivering best practice housing occupancy services, supporting people living in temporary housing programs following the 2022 Northern Rivers floods.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of housing occupancy services, working collaboratively with clients and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

This involves providing client-focused tenancy, occupancy, and property management services, as well as dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds and vulnerable people with complex needs.

Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in providing client-focused tenancy, occupancy, and/or property management services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, high degree of initiative, motivation, and outcome orientation.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills, ability to prioritise own workload and deal with multiple and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills, effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening.
  • Well-developed computer skills and ability to adapt and learn internal IT systems.
