Delivering a High-Quality Early Childhood Education Program

We are seeking an experienced and passionate early childhood educator to join our team as an Early Childhood Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and educational programs for kindergarten-age children, ensuring a high-quality learning experience that meets the needs of all learners.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

  • Monitor and assess children's progress, using this information to inform future planning and ensure the best possible outcomes.

  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues, using strong verbal and written communication skills to engage and support others.

  • Contribute to the overall success of our service by participating in ongoing training and development opportunities, staying up-to-date with the latest educational trends and practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A graduate diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).

  • Full or provisional teacher registration.

  • A first aid certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS), with the ability to develop and implement high-quality education programs.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Prior experience working in early childhood settings, with a deep understanding of child development and learning principles.

  • Experience in observing and documenting children's progress, with a focus on informing future planning and improving outcomes.

  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used for children's documentation and parent communication.

  • Engagement in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
