Lecturer Position in Physiotherapy

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced lecturer to join our faculty in the School of Health Sciences. As a Lecturer (Physiotherapy), you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and clinical training to our students.

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered physiotherapist with a passion for teaching and research to contribute to the development of our physiotherapy program.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver physiotherapy courses, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues, clinical facilities, and external stakeholders to maintain good governance, quality, and relevancy in the clinical education stream.
  • Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions, and studio sessions.
  • Initiate and develop course materials, acting as subject coordinators, and preparing and delivering lectures and seminars.
  • Supervise major honours or postgraduate research projects, supervising the program of study of honours students and postgraduate students engaged in coursework, conducting research, and participating in professional activities.
  • Broad administrative functions, including marking and assessment.
Requirements:
  • Registered Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapists Registration Board under AHPRA.
  • Possess or working towards a doctoral qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Significant clinical experience and knowledge/network within the clinical education domain is highly desirable.
