
Employment Law Expert

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to lead or contribute to the delivery of strategic legal advice across all aspects of employment law.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation.
They will also be proficient in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
Our team is committed to providing expert legal advice on employment law matters, including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations.
As a member of our team, you will monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments, advising on implications for policy, practice, and risk.
You will also draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation, ensuring legal robustness and alignment with organisational values.
Additionally, you will partner with senior internal stakeholders across People & Culture, Risk, and Operations as well as external counsel and regulators to embed legal risk management into NAB's workforce strategy.
Influence policy development and contribute to enterprise-wide decision-making on employment practices and compliance.
Lead or support responses to regulatory inquiries, disputes, and litigation involving employment matters.
Manage relationships with external counsel and regulators, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective legal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters.

- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
- Skilled in translating legal advice into clear, commercially relevant guidance.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, tailored to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies and processes.
