About the Role

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment at our sites.
  • Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work performed.
  • Rapidly respond to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from incidents and providing feedback through line management.
  • Ensure high levels of equipment availability for internal customers.

A Day in the Life

  • Conduct a range of planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure site equipment operates safely.
  • As an RME Technician, promptly address breakdowns, investigating causes, implementing solutions and reporting back as quickly as possible.
  • Maintain and enhance processes for long-term efficiency.

About the Team

  • We are a team of skilled professionals who maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of Fulfilment Centres, Sortation Centres and Delivery Stations.
  • Our team works together to provide a high level of service quality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hold a formal trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, such as a Certificate III.
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner) is highly regarded.
  • An alternative qualification formally recognized in Australia is also acceptable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Knowledge of sortation machines.
  • Maintenance and configuration experience of barcode scanners.
  • Familiarity with print and apply machines.
