Key Role: Vessel Engineer

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the safe mechanical operations of our vessels, enhancing the guest experience in one of Australia's most stunning locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily engine checks and diagnose system problems as they occur.
  • Collaborate with the Master to manage vessel operations safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all maintenance requirements and actions are recorded accurately.

Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of marine engines and systems.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures.
  • Exceptional guest service skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and intermediate computer literacy.
  • AMSA accredited or certificate of recognition of Marine Engine Driver Grade 1 NC (MED1).
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid & Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
  • HLTAID015 Advance Oxygen Therapy.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (QLD).
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Working with Children's Check (Blue Card).
