Job Opportunity: Service Technicians Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a cleaner environment or gain experience in the industry. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Technicians Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance, modification and service of pumps with supervision and general factory hand work.
  • Inspect and test products prior to dispatch to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and reports consistent with company policies, QA procedures and Safety requirements.
  • Support and assist other team members in the workshop to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including picking, cleaning, customer service and other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Licence and forklift license (highly desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Proven communication skills, with demonstrated experience working in a team and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a pump or engineering environment or similar (highly desirable).

Technical Skills:

  • Assist with installation and commissioning of pumping and filtration systems.
  • On-site and workshop repairs of and civil construction pumping systems involving the diagnosis of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical components of the systems, in order to correctly identify faults.
  • High standard of workmanship is expected at all times.
  • Maintain and regularly clean service area and tools to ensure efficient and safe operation.

  • Undertake relevant training in trade skills to enhance career development and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge, improve skills and processes.
  • Display high level of professionalism in appearance and behaviour at all times.

Desirable Competencies:

  • Demonstrated understanding and compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) systems.
  • Construction Industry White Card preferable.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Forklift License preferable or will to obtain one.
  • Reliable and proactive attitude.
  • Ideal candidate would have an Electrical "D" Licence or be prepared to get one.
