Clinical Assistant in Obesity Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our team in the Obesity Management Clinic at Alfred Health. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients struggling with obesity.

The RoleThis part-time position involves working 3.5 hours per week, providing medical services to patients in the Obesity Management Clinic. The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with other staff members, and have the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical services to patients in the Obesity Management Clinic
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Be legally qualified and registered or registrable with AHPRA without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands
- Hold Fellowship of either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, or equivalent certification from a recognized overseas body
- Meet Alfred Health's requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Specialty General Practice
- Have outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
- Be able to liaise effectively with other staff members at all levels
- Demonstrate flexibility in problem-solving and the capability to develop and sustain collaborative relationships
This part-time position involves working 3.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to commit to this arrangement.
Salary PackageThe salary package for this position includes an annual salary of approximately $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including professional development opportunities and access to modern facilities.
