At Alfred Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team.

We are a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. Our main provider of health services is to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.

About the Role

You will work closely with other members of the Medical Obesity and Bariatric Surgery teams to provide psychological assessment and treatment to patients of the Medical Obesity clinic. This role requires you to work on Thursday morning, with other days flexible.

You will be a senior member of the Alfred Psychology Department and will be involved in department activities and duties including the supervision of other psychology staff and students, professional development activities and research.

About You

  • You must have a Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Health Psychology.
  • You need to be registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
  • You should have Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Health Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
  • You must be an Approved Psychology Board of Australia Supervisor.
  • You require minimum 5 years' experience as a Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Health Psychologist.
  • You need Australian working rights.
  • You need to have Full Covid-19 and 2023 Influenza vaccination.
  • You are willing to undergo a Background Check.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
