About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including managing admission paperwork, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage a busy admission desk, answer and redirect calls, and perform health fund checks as required.
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Complete other clerical tasks, such as data entry, to support the efficient operation of our hospital.

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with our healthcare team and other stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate and effective record management systems.
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), with a strong understanding of hospital systems and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
