Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Officer to join our professional and collaborative team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the effective management of our leased property portfolio, ensuring compliance with legal and operational requirements.
About the Role- Our Property Officer will prioritise safety in all aspects of lease management, overseeing lease agreements, rental reviews, insurances, and debtor management.
- They will conduct regular inspections of leased properties to ensure compliance with lease terms, assist in developing and implementing leasing policies, and maintaining accurate lease records.
- The ideal candidate will prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments for outdoor dining licences and road reserve leases, working closely with the Facility Services Administration Officer to ensure accurate on-charging of utilities to lessees.
- They will provide support and guidance to stakeholders regarding lease management and compliance, ensuring that community access to safe, well-managed and well-utilised public spaces is maintained.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong organisational skills and a high level of integrity;
- Experience in property or lease management within a government or corporate environment;
- Sound knowledge of real estate laws, leasing practices, and regulatory requirements;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems.
