Project Planner Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our Australian Construction team.

This rare opportunity involves working on a multi-level car park and mixed-use development project at Westfield Knox in Victoria, while maintaining daily operations.

  • Develop and drive programmes and planning tools to efficiently deliver projects and accurately report progress.
  • Communicate key deliverables and sequencing to stakeholders and forecast potential programme risks.
About the Project

An experienced Project Planner will work on a $355mil redevelopment project at Westfield Knox in Victoria. This project involves working on multi-level car parks, mixed use retail, entertainment and commercial spaces.

The Project Planner will develop and drive programmes and planning tools to efficiently deliver projects and accurately report progress.

Your Key Accountabilities
  1. Interpreting design documentation and briefs to produce detailed construction programs and staging.
  2. Monitoring and achieving project deadlines, producing weekly reports for the general manager, and tracking critical items defining the project's critical path.
  3. Producing monthly reports containing high-level analyses of the project status based against agreed gross completion dates.
  4. Developing staging plans to communicate construction methodologies, timings, and impacts to various stakeholders.
  5. Managing the tender letting schedule, delay contingency, and reporting on all delays and their impact on the project timeline.
