Job Title: Environmental Management Specialist

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Environmental Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations supervisor in implementing and maintaining the environmental management system for our project.

As an Environmental Management Specialist, you will deliver high-quality environmental functions while providing supervisory support for Reverse Osmosis water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive environmental excellence and operational performance through effective management of environmental systems and processes.
  • Lead and mentor site teams during supervisor absences, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14000, 22000) by conducting regular audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage environmental contractors and consultants to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintenance of environmental equipment.
  • Develop and implement strategic environmental management plans, promoting sustainable practices and minimizing environmental impact.
Requirements:
  • Proven understanding of water treatment operations and principles.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent report writing and analytical capabilities.
