Marketing Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team.

This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of market research, product development and customer communication.

The successful candidate will lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns and assets for both offline and digital channels to deliver brand reputation growth, drive business objectives and customer acquisition opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute strategic marketing plans for hotels that creatively advance the reputation and support business objectives.
  • Oversee Marketing budgets with a focus on business development, working closely with Resort Managers and Revenue Optimization teams to ensure that revenue targets are met and exceeded where possible.
  • Accurately report on campaigns, analyze performance and look for opportunities to repeat &/or improve.
  • Implement processes that grow our customer databases and lead generation activities, and look for opportunities including partnerships to engage with target markets.
  • Collaborate with brand and PR teams to develop the PR strategy to earn media coverage of Vacation Clubs and Resorts in local and key markets through the distribution of press releases, media, and influencer hosting.
  • Identifies and executes direct marketing strategies to increase engagement and positive sentiment in local and key markets.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are met with attention to detail.
  • Supervisory responsibilities in leading the South Pacific Marketing team including training and development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7-10 years of marketing-related experience with minimum graduate qualifications.
  • Experience in travel and hospitality is required.
  • Experience using a variety of Marketing platforms including Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, design programs (Adobe / Canva). Added bonus if experience using Salesforce or Merlin CRM.
  • Building Strategic Working Relationships - Developing and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
  • Aligning Performance for Success - Focuses and guides others in accomplishing work objectives.
  • Ability to travel inter/ intra state and internationally when required.
