About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Career Development Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting and supporting job seekers to gain successful, meaningful, and sustainable employment or education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individually tailored plans to assist and support job seekers
- Promote and place job seekers into employment vacancies and opportunities appropriate to their abilities and interests
- Create interview and job opportunities for clients via marketing activities with employers
- Support the wider team to drive performance and achieve sustainable employment outcomes for job seekers
- Ensure government standards and contractual obligations are met within the site
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Employment Services will be highly regarded but not essential
- Strong customer service and reverse marketing, sales or cold calling skills
- Demonstrated ability working towards targets and KPIs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong administration and computer skills - ability to learn technical systems
- Resilience and ability to thrive in a continuously changing environment
