Commercial Finance Analyst Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-based organisation and provide commercial and financial support to the business via robust commercial analysis, financial modelling, and excellent communication.

About the Position

  • This role will focus on providing commercial and financial support to the business, applying a strategic and analytical lens to achieve corporate and business objectives within the finance team and across the organisation.
  • In the first 12 months, the focus will be on financial planning and analysis, particularly budget modelling and integration of the budget and forecasts with our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing commercial and financial support to the business through robust commercial analysis, financial modelling, and excellent communication.
  • Applying a strategic and analytical lens to achieve corporate and business objectives within the finance team and across the organisation.
  • Financial planning and analysis, including budget modelling and integration of the budget and forecasts with our financial systems.
  • Performing commercial reviews and analytical tasks to support corporate or business initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor of Business (Commerce) or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, including commercial finance, business/feasibility modelling, project evaluation, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet management.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator who works well in a large, diverse organisation.
