After Hours Hospital Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to take on the pivotal role of After Hours Hospital Coordinator. This key leadership position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has exceptional people leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have recent management experience at ANUM level or higher, with a strong background in staff coordination and allocation. They will be confident in their ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios, with a high degree of computer literacy including MS Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards
  • Support and liaise with respective Nurse Unit Managers of wards and departments
  • Ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and cost-efficient
  • Coordinate patient admissions
  • Oversee the safety of all patients and hospital staff

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
  • Recent management experience at ANUM level or higher
  • Tertiary Qualification in a health-related discipline or management (desired)
  • Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired)
