About the Role

This position is part of the Aged Care Resumes team, responsible for delivering high-quality support services to older Australians. As a Support Officer - Aged Care Specialist, you will work closely with volunteers, community organizations, and healthcare providers to ensure the successful implementation of our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community care providers and volunteer agencies.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers to deliver the ACVVS program, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent support services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote the ACVVS program and expand its reach.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of volunteers, clients, and their matches, as well as progress through the placement process.
  • Provide coaching and support to volunteers to ensure they are equipped to handle complex situations and provide high-quality support services.
  • Work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of the ACVVS program.
