Compassionate Caregiver Wanted

To deliver exceptional support to individuals in the community, we are seeking a dedicated and empathetic caregiver. As part of our team, you will provide practical and emotional help to enable our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes throughout the Victoria Region.

The Role:

Our ideal candidate will be reliable, committed, and able to build strong relationships with our clients. This role involves providing quality care and support to meet the unique needs of each client, promoting independence and well-being.

About You:

  • A genuine interest in helping others and a can-do attitude
  • Variety of hobbies and interests such as sewing, arts, gardening, cooking, and scrapbooking
  • Experience in outdoor pursuits and activities
  • Practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Enjoyment in social activities and one-on-one engagement
  • Understanding of physical limitations and a safe approach
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity, and emotional stability
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in communication

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent
  • Current National Police Certificate
  • Valid Driver License and reliable vehicle
  • Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role
  • Current First aid Certificate
