About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing aged care services in the Newcastle region. As an aged care worker, you will empower older Australians to live independently and enjoy life to the fullest.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic Assistance: Assist clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Social Support: Build connections and support clients to engage in meaningful activities.
  • Community Access: Assist clients with outings, appointments, and errands to enhance independence.

Requirements

To join our team, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for aged care and making a difference in people's lives.
  • Reliable transport, a valid driver's license, and comprehensive car insurance.
  • A current National Police Check.
  • A Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • NDIS Worker Screening.
  • Up-to-date flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Previous experience in aged care or a similar role (preferred but not essential).
