Job Title:

Workplace Culture Specialist

Overview:

This key role shapes and strengthens our workplace culture by driving employee engagement, supporting strategic business goals and collaborating with leaders to develop succession plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and enhance people management initiatives such as performance reviews, remuneration cycles, and onboarding.
  • Provide training and support to managers ensuring consistency and quality across key processes.
  • Champion the development of relevant processes and procedures to assist managers in people management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by partnering with managers and collaborating with leaders.
  • Identify and manage risks and compliance issues.
  • Facilitate payroll processing for a leading travel company.
  • Contribute to broader team responsibilities including talent acquisition, events, and office management.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in human resources, business management, or similar.
  • A minimum of 7 plus years experience operating as a workplace culture specialist or equivalent.
  • Proven human resource experience ideally in a scale up environment with exposure to corporate organisations at a business partner level.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian employment legislation and National Employment Standards.
  • Experience with HR systems is desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including attention to detail.
  • A warm, approachable, pragmatic, and supportive style with confidence to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
