Service Technician Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with MEP systems across various customer sites.

  • Diagnose problems within building systems using technical expertise and experience.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify system issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Review architectural plans and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of building designs to inspect structures and locate critical serviceable items.
  • Maintain accurate records of assignments and produce comprehensive work reports to ensure seamless billing and accounting processes.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to develop solutions to all concerns and enhance their overall satisfaction.
  • Upsell ongoing maintenance contracts to non-contract customers by identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in MEP system troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with customers.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
