**Job Description:**
">We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Adolescent Mental Health Nurse Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team at Austin Health.
">As a key member of the Adolescent Inpatient Unit, you will work closely with young people and their carers to achieve positive outcomes in all areas of functioning.
">The unit is based at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg and has 11 beds, providing mental health assessment and treatment for adolescents aged 13-17 years who present high levels of risk or require specialist care.
">Our team is supported by Austin School teaching staff, ensuring young people remain connected to their home schools or find alternative education pathways.
">**Key Responsibilities:**
">• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely access to adolescent mental health inpatient beds at Austin Health and across Melbourne networks.
">• Support consumer flow through the inpatient unit and facilitate safe and successful discharge to the community setting.
