What We're Looking For

  • A senior retail leader to drive sales, build customer relationships, and manage store KPIs
  • A store cluster manager to influence, motivate, and inspire high-performing teams
  • A big box retail director to leverage solid retail skills and ensure operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

  • Take on full end-to-end store accountability for driving sales, building customer relationships, and managing store KPIs
  • Influence, motivate, and inspire high-performing teams to deliver an exceptional retail experience and service to customers
  • Leverage solid retail skills to ensure the fundamentals are exceptionally executed, including full stock on shelf, cleanliness, customer service, VM, inventory management, and loss prevention
  • Communicate effectively and positively with the store team to execute change initiatives and implement new ideas
  • Be a valued brand ambassador and the face of the store
  • Develop relationships in the local community and build on untapped commercial sales opportunities
  • Consistently improve current systems, processes, and control measures to ensure full retail operational excellence

Requirements

  • A credible and engaging senior retail leader or store cluster manager with a large format/big box retail background
  • Excellent leadership ability, inspiring teams to achieve success
  • Customer obsession, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Upbeat approach to driving sales, with a natural ability to engage and motivate teams
  • Well-honed operational skills across inventory planning and management, as well as shrewd financial control
  • Sound business acumen, with a deep understanding of P&Ls and financial levers
  • Brilliant communication skills, with the ability to translate the vision into day-to-day operational performance
  • A change agent, able to transform key operational aspects and people elements to ensure sustainability, future viability, growth, and profitability
  • A non-hierarchical approach, with a willingness to get involved in the day-to-day operations
