Job Purpose

BTIG is seeking a skilled sales trader to support its senior sales trading team. This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, exercise sound decision-making skills, and possess a positive attitude.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the sales trading team, assisting with client coverage duties and reading research to analyze trade ideas.
  • Compile the morning news and trade ideas, highlighting key announcements and developments that will impact the Asian trading day.
  • Support sales traders in client coverage and develop direct relationships with clients.
  • Liaise with the back office and settlements regarding settlement issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in finance, banking, or financial markets.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Keen interest in financial markets.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
