Job Summary

The STIR Trader role is a key position within Citi's Institutional Trading division, responsible for supporting and building the FX Forwards franchise in G10 currencies in the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a trading book and generate revenues while effectively managing risk for the respective business.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Research, and other organizations across Markets and Securities Services to drive business growth.
  • Trade a book and deliver budgeted revenues, establishing key relationships to deliver trades to the desk.
  • Anticipate client demand in respective product/market and coordinate with desk analysts as needed.
  • Develop a strong governance and controls framework, working closely with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and supervision, expense discipline, and ethics.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of respective products and clients.
  • Required licensing and registrations as applicable.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical competency.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and pitch situations and determine suitable counterparties.
Education

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
