We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our esteemed Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA) program at Northrop Grumman.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field, and possess a deep understanding of Australian Civil and Defence Aviation regulations. They will also have hands-on experience in maintenance control systems and OEM service literature.

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and engines within the program, ensuring every aircraft under your supervision is in peak condition and ready for operation. Your duties will include scheduling inspections, managing external repair services when necessary, and authorising aircraft release, all while adhering to our rigorous standards.

You will lead the SPA AMO workforce, reporting to the SPA Program Manager, and ensure alignment with operational demands. Your role is vital in maintaining the exceptional safety and regulatory compliance that our program is known for, while driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices and operational efficiency.
