**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regional Operations Director to lead our business operations in Canberra. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

As a Senior Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of business operations, including safety leadership, people leadership, client service, and operational excellence within your region. You will work closely with our Business Centre Operations Leader to develop and implement annual business plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with our company's overall strategy.

You will also be responsible for achieving net revenue, gross margin, G&A, operating income, and backlog targets within your region, as well as driving collaboration and work sharing across our Business Centre to meet overall utilisation targets. Your leadership skills will be essential in providing guidance and direction to all staff, ensuring clear communication of objectives, actions, and focus.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive rewards package.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead business operations in Canberra, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategies
  • Develop and implement annual business plans and budgets, working closely with the Business Centre Operations Leader
  • Achieve net revenue, gross margin, G&A, operating income, and backlog targets within your region
  • Drive collaboration and work sharing across the Business Centre to meet overall utilisation targets
  • Provide leadership and direction to all staff, ensuring clear communication of objectives, actions, and focus

**Requirements:**

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing teams, preferably with 20+ people
  • Financial management skills, with a proven ability to deliver results while maintaining a focus on people
  • Commercial acumen, including sound understanding of contracts and commercial arrangements on projects
  • Project management skills, with experience in managing large portfolios of projects and implementing recovery plans
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal stakeholders effectively
  • Client-focused approach, with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
