Electrical Instructor Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Electrical Instructor to deliver high-quality training and assessment to students in the Electrotechnology discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective learning resources and teaching methodologies to engage diverse student populations.
  • Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment in workshops and simulated training settings.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Electrotechnology.
  • Electrical qualifications, minimum Certificate III in Electrical.
  • A current Unrestricted Electrical License.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE). If not currently held, applicants may be supported by TAFE SA to obtain it.
  • Experience across different sectors of Electrotechnology, including Commercial, Industrial, Domestic, and Mining.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and LMS systems like Moodle, or a willingness to learn digital tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Must provide evidence of a valid DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to employment.
  • Out-of-hours work may be required; flexibility is essential.
  • Some intrastate and interstate travel may be necessary.
  • Potential relocation to other campuses may be considered.
