Sustainable Project Delivery Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Advisor to support the environmental compliance of a major mining infrastructure project in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the project meets stringent environmental standards and regulatory frameworks.

The position is based on an iron-ore project, a key component of broader site development for a well-established mining operator. As part of a high-performing site-based team, you will provide expert advice on environmental management plans, permits, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans aligned with legislative requirements and company standards.
  • Manage and maintain environmental permits and approvals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collect and interpret environmental site data, supporting accurate reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and deliver engaging environmental inductions and training programs for site personnel.
About You:
  • 5+ years of environmental advisory experience in construction, mining, or heavy infrastructure settings.
  • Strong understanding of WA environmental legislation, approvals processes, and compliance obligations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a site-based, fast-paced construction environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
